The hierarchy is simple:

Spaces
High-level contexts like "Work", "Personal", or "Project X". Each space has its own independent list of collections.

Collections
Folders within a space. This is where your actual tabs live.

Cards (Tabs)
Individual bookmarks/tabs. You can drag and drop them to reorder.
Omni-Search
Press Cmd + K (Mac) or Ctrl + K (Windows) to open the Command Palette.
Search Everything
Find open tabs, bookmarks, or saved cards across all spaces instantly.
Quick Actions
Type commands like /stash or /new to
perform actions without leaving the keyboard.
Smart Sorting
Chaos in your tab strip? The Smart Sort feature (beta) helps you organize instantly.
1. Enter Smart Sort Mode
Click the Sort Icon (Arrow Up/Down) in the header. Tabs will visually reorder in the dashboard preview. This is safe—nothing moves in your browser yet.
2. Apply Changes
If you like the new order, click the Checkmark button. Only then will your actual browser tabs be rearranged.
Duplicate Finder
Whiskey Bookmark Manager scans not just for exact URL matches, but for "Smart Matches" too—ignoring tracking IDs that make identical pages look different.
How it works
Click the Duplicate Finder button in the sidebar (or top right).
We'll show you groups of identical tabs. You can close all duplicates with one
click, keeping just the one you need.
We automatically ignore tracking parameters like utm_source or
fbclid.
example.com?ref=twitter == example.com
Need to ignore custom params? Go to Settings > Search > Duplicate Finder Ignored Parameters to add your own comma-separated list.
Stashing Tabs
Overwhelmed? Clear your browser window in one click.
How to Stash
- Open the Sidebar.
- Click the "Stash All" button (icon looks like a box).
- All current open tabs will be saved into a new collection named "Stash [Date]".
- Your window is now clean and ready for a fresh start!
Settings & Backup
Manage your preferences and data from the Settings menu.
Auto-Backup
Enable automatic backups (Daily/Weekly) to your Downloads folder JSON format. Never lose your curated lists.
Appearance
Switch between Light, Dark, or System themes. Toggle "Reduce Motion" if you prefer a static interface.
